A new Top 25 movie list has a lot of predictable classics such as “The Wizard of Oz,” “Gone With The Wind,” “It’s A Wonderful Life” and “The Godfather.” And then there is a movie that was filmed partly in Boca Raton as well as other spots in South Florida.
That’s (all) right: We’re talking “Caddyshack.”
It’s on a list of The 25 Most Rewatchable Movies at the stat site FiveThirtyEight. This was a poll asking readers to vote for a movie they watch over and over again. “Caddyshack” just makes the cut at No. 25. When the votes were broken down by gender of watchers, men put it at No. 17, while it didn’t make the women’s list at all.
The Bill Murray-Chevy Chase-Rodney Dangerfield golfball and goofball comedy had dining and dance scenes shot at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Most of the golf scenes were shot all over Broward County.
